The Law of Verbal Packaging

The Leverage Of Language

The Law of Verbal Packaging states that the more skillful you are in the use of language and vocal techniques, the more persuasive you will be. The Law of Verbal Packaging utilizes the symbolic power within words. At their core, words are symbols. Some possess intrinsic value and others are assigned meaning. Regardless of the source, words have power with whom they are presented to. Persuasion comes when, the words we use, strike chords within the minds of others- triggering emotions that lead to action.
By far the most powerful example I can think of is the famous Nike slogan "Just Do It". We don't know what "it" is, but we know that with Nike products we can do whatever we need to.
This law is my favorite. It is extremely true. Words are powerful and they can literally make people do what we want.
